About
Thank you for taking your time to come to my personal blog and website.
I am a university student currently studying Ethical Hacking for Computer Security with the aim being that I get a job with pen testing in the future. This website is here to express my views and thoughts on the subject of ethical hacking but also around the subject of general computing.
It is important to note that any views that I express are my own, and do not express the views of my university unless otherwise stated.
I first got into computing when I started to build my own PC around the age of 12 with my father and some family friends. Since then I have been involved heavily within hardware rebuilding for gaming machines. I was a big fan of Far Cry and was involved with clans and such. After our clan website was ‘hacked’ I got very much into the role of web designing and web security. Which is where I found the interest to join the course that I am currently doing.
Since starting university I have made contact with a second year on my course (website). I have been trying to get involved with the open source web application that he is creating, admitingly not know enough about PHP to get my head around it. I am however learning and have editing a view of the files and created a new one for a future update to (DVWA).
I am still in my first year, however in the 3rd year I will be looking for a year long placement, and also full-time work after my final year of university which will be in 2013. If you can offer me a position please contact: tmac@tmacuk.co.uk
