Media attention!

Following on from my findings in WordPress a new version has been released. Anyone using WP upgrade to version 2.9.2 to stop the bug I found occurring to you.
After this has been released I got about 5 track backs on the blog post, my name is on the front page of the WP website, and my name is 3rd in Google rankings.
Thank you all for the support through this and checking out the blog.

With respect to your finding, you should be aware that this has been already reported about three month ago according to a WordPress 2.9.2 related blog post titled “The short memory of WordPress.org security”.
It might not be your fault because you just did not know and wordpress.org did not provide any feedback to you regarding that previous report so I think it is worth you at least know now about it. It was reported earlier by a guy called caesarsgrunt.
Thanks for the awareness you raised and the patch you provided. Maybe that’s the most important thing that was missing here to push it into 2.9.2. Good luck for your upcomming findings.

It would be nice if there was a plugin that let editors view the drafts of authors and contributors.
Does anybody know of one?
